I'm 99% moving to San Diego into a new apartment this weekend. I have been living headboard-less/bed frame-less for the past two years. I'm pretty much over having my bed sitting on the floor. As I was researching headboards I stumbled upon an AMAZING idea. Instead of buying a headboard and being stuck with something you might be over in a year OR moving it to a new apartment years to come you could buy a decal. YES, I said it a DECAL HEADBOARD. GENIUS!

House real big, Car real big

I wanted to create a set of outfits for my Birthday weekend. Enjoy!

1. Capitol Hill Dress Code

I wanted to make a work outfit that fits perfect for Capitol Hill style.

The sear sucker blazer with a simple white T and navy pencil skirt goes incredibly well with the gray pumps and gold accessories. Since there is no budget in my fantasy world, I wanted to rock a classic white-faced rolex with gold-framed aviators. The earrings are my fav!

2. Birthday Girl

This outfit is for my entrance to 'Big Girl World' or 'Alcohol paradise' if I must say. I plan on drinking either Rossini (Prosecco, Strawberries, mint) or some kind of Cosmo drink at the famous W hotel in D.C. overlooking the White House. The dress is a mere $6,200 from designer Elie Saab, but remember I am in my birthday fantasy.

3. Recovery

Lastly, this outfit will be for the 'night after'. Love the idea of a cropped shirt with a maxi skirt! If this was a real hangover outfit, I most likely would not be rocking platforms but hey who cares. It looks chic.

Bombshell Blakey

This Gossip Girl is currently on Glamour's cover for Summer 2011 edition. She's bringing a retro edge to her photo shoot and she couldn't look any hotter!

Rumored power couple, Blake Lively and Lovely DiCaprio, have been seen rendezvousing around secretly from the press. From the looks of this photo shoot it seems Blake fits the matronly vibe. Will Leo settle with this one?
