Father's Day Advice/Dinner

Every year my sister and I struggle with, "what should we get Dad?" It seems like we always come back to the same ideas i.e. golf balls, t-shirt, gag gift, etc. Every year we ask, "what do you want for father's day?" And he always responds with, "don't spend any money." Well, I should say he says something similar to that. This year for father's day make a home cooked meal. Put on one of his favorite movies (our Dad can't get enough of the classic movie "Chinatown" starring Jack Nicholson) and enjoy just spending time with him. My advice is cook a pot roast:
Use Jacques's Pot Roast recipe. It's the best!

P.s. If you don't live close to home anymore I guess golf balls will have to do ;)

It Feels Good to be Back

Well Hello. It has been too long. For the first post back in 6 months I think it is only appropriate to start with food.

Bottega Louie is the restaurant where you will find this sandwich named, "The Torpedo." It was phenomenal, a classic italian sandwich. It was accompanied with homemade potato chips that were undeniably delicious. This romantic restaurant sucks you into that "Paris" feeling from the moment you walk into the door. Even though the menu is more of traditional dishes the Parisian flare is found in the pastries in the front.

If you find yourself in the Downtown Los Angeles area you can't not stop. You're Welcome.
